Jerry Southern, Sr. has been involved with the truck equipment industry for over 39 years. Jerry started his career as a mechanic at Transport Equipment Corporation in the 1960’s, then worked his way into managerial positions at Gallagher Truck Equipment, and Eastern Body, Inc. Jerry started Intercon Truck Equipment, Inc. in 1991, and has built his business through hard work, quality installations, and service second to none. “The Right People Make A Big Difference.”

Tom Yeager has over 25 years experience in the truck equipment industry. Tom originally was a Parts Manager for Gallagher Truck Equipment, Inc. in the late 1980’s, then worked his way into an outside sales position with Gallagher. Tom Yeager has been Jerry’s closest associate for over 25 years. Tom’s expertise is in the Municipal and Fleet sector, which allows him to solve most municipal truck equipment needs.

Denis Magerr has been in the truck equipment industry for over 20 years. Denis’s first position was as a salesman for Fontaine Truck Equipment, Inc. in Bensalem, PA. Denis later became Assistant Manager at the Bensalem location. Denis received extensive knowledge in the railroad/transit industry while working at Interstate Truck Equipment, Inc. in the early 1990’s. Denis has been with Intercon for over 10 years while completing multiple projects for railroad, rental, and transit companies in the northeast.

Tom Bytheway has been with Intercon Truck Equipment for approximately 10 years. Prior to Intercon, Tom was a lead mechanic for Lancaster Truck Bodies, Inc. Tom has extensive training in hydraulics, fabrication, and pneumatic technologies. Tom is also certified in hy-rail maintenance and installations. Tom has the ability to solve any of your truck equipment needs. Intercon service, is second to none.

Joe Muraska has been a lead mechanic at Intercon truck Equipment for over 10 years. Joe's specialty is in hydraulics, and completes and troubleshoots the majority of our municipal plow business. Joe is also certified in hy-rail maintenance and installations. Intercon service is second to none.

Don Whittaker is one of Intercon Truck Equipment’s original employees. Don started with Intercon in 1991, and then worked briefly at our Baltimore, MD location as Service Manager before rejoining Intercon in Boothwyn, PA. Don splits his time between Inside Sales duties, as well as Quality Control. Don schedules the majority of our snow/ice control installations during our plow season.

Scott Lien has been involved with the truck equipment industry for over 25 years. Scott worked as lead mechanic for Gallagher Truck Equipment, Inc., Eastern Body Company, and Eagle Equipment. Scott has been our Parts Manager for over 10 years. He is S.A.E. certified, and has extensive knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and other equipment related items. Scott is one of the cornerstones of our success at Intercon Truck Equipment, Inc.

Lew Reynolds has been our Paint Supervisor for 10 years. Lew was a painter for Eagle Equipment, prior to coming on board with Intercon. Lew’s paint finishes are one of the reasons for Intercon’s reputation for quality. Lew uses DuPont finishes with extensive knowledge of body work and finish.

Dawn Southern has been with Intercon Truck Equipment, Inc. since 1993. Dawn has a B.S. degree from Widener University in Accounting and is fluent in Spanish. Dawn is in charge of our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Departments. Dawn is credited with much of our success at Intercon Truck Equipment, Inc.

Mary Yanonis has been at Intercon Truck Equipment, Inc. for over 5 years. Mary’s responsibilities include A/P for Intercon and Triad Truck Equipment, Inc. Mary helps process hundreds of calls weekly at Intercon.

Danielle Mortimer has been employed by Intercon for several years. Danielle’s responsibilities include A/P and A/R for C.B.T., our custom fabrication sister company. Danielle also helps process the hundreds of calls we receive weekly.
