WINGS AND WING SYSTEMS

ACC-HCC SERIES

  • Our ACC rear tower incorporates a hydraulic and cable system.
  • This system allows the wing to be raised into travel position and also used for shelving purposes.
  • The lift control cylinders are housed in the rear tower so to be shielded from sand and salt and to reduce corrosion.
  • The tower is constructed from 12″ channel with a 1/4″ enclosed cabinet with access doors to service the hydraulic cylinders.
  • No portion of the cylinders shall extrude past the top of the tower.
  • Vertical lift is accomplished through the use of hydraulic cylinders and cable sheaved to reach 36″ or 54″ of travel.
  • The HCC front tower features a low profile design. This tower design provides adequate wing lift without vertical extensions above the tower structure.
  • Open tower design is self-cleaning easily shedding snow and road debris.
  • Lift cylinder is located behind the tower beam for greater protection.
  • The modular tower attachment brackets provide simple removal to allow for service or off-season weight savings.
  • If the truck is fitted out with a Power Tilt hitch, this tower will tilt forward with the hitch for ease of truck servicing.
  • The HCC tower provides 36″ or 72″ of vertical wing lift. This system normally incorporates our safety trip dee for full moldboard trip action.

ACP SERIES

  • Independently controlled hydraulic front tower with safety trip dee.
  • Hydraulic cylinder inside enclosed cabinet for protection.
  • Allows wing 6″ of float.
  • Slider assembly runs full length of front tower.
  • Tower tilts forward with power tilt hitch.
  • The tower bolts to cross tubes.
  • Totally hydraulic rear tower.
  • Completely enclosed rear cabinet with hydraulic cylinder located inside for protection.
  • Tower slider attaches directly to cylinder end for positive lift. Square bar slider keeper track full length of rear tower.
  • The upper wing arm incorporates a wire tension trip spring to return wing to plowing position after wing has encountered an obstruction.
  • The upper wing arm has a sliding cylinder connecting lug to lift the wing and also to provide vertical wing float.
  • The upper arm will extend from 66″ to 78″ in length (pin to pin).
  • The lower arm incorporates a compression spring to create a shock absorber affect for the wing plow.
  • The wing arms have universal joint connectors at both ends of the wing arms.
  • The lower wing arm will extend from 64″ to 76″ (pin to pin).

ACPEA SERIES

  • Our ACP48 front tower is independently controlled providing 48″ of vertical wing lift. This system incorporates our 30 degree rubber timbren safety trip dee for full moldboard trip action.
  • The tower’s slider assembly runs full length of the front tower and allows for 6″ of wing float.
  • The tower bolts to the front hitch support cross tubes.
  • The modular tower attachment brackets provide simple removal to allow for service or off-season weight savings.
  • If the truck is fitted out with a Power Tilt hitch, this tower will tilt forward with the hitch for ease of truck servicing.
  • (This wing system is also available with our ACP36 fully hydraulic front tower).
  • Our low profile ACPEA patrol rear module minimizes the mounting area required behind the truck cab for installation.
  • The ACPEA rear module incorporates a hydraulic cylinder to raise and lower the rear of the wing moldboard.
  • The wing arm mounting structure is designed to be removable through a pull pin device.
  • The rear assembly incorporates a base basket to reduce the amount of space requested to mount a sander application or standard dump.
  • The ACPEA is designed with a single telescopic wing arm with a built in compression spring shock absorber. The wing arm has a cylinder mount to the side to allow the wing arm to extend outwards by 21″ to increase the cleared path as needed.
  • This design also allows for limited shelving capabilities.

ACPF SERIES

  • The ACPF Patrol cable system is modular for easy installation and removal, and is designed for severe duty applications.
