Ken has been with Intercon for over a year.  Ken has experience in inside warehouse operations, and helps with Intercon’s inside parts and warehouse operations. 

Joe has been with Intercon since 2016.  Previously Joe was a Sales Manager for a BMW dealership in Wilmington, De, where he worked for over 28 years.  Joe is quite familiar with the dealer business, and is spearheading our Kargomaster Van Interior Rebate Program. 

Jared has been with Intercon since 1997, where he worked as a shop technician for several years.  Jared was also involved in the parts department as an Assistant Parts Manager with extensive technical knowledge of our MAS-90 inventory tracking systems, as well as an inside computer tech, helping troubleshoot internal computer issues. Jared continues to serve Intercon in our Aston location as General Manager where his knowledge and expertise is invaluable.

George has been with Intercon since 2004.  George is an inside counter salesman in our parts department, with extensive knowledge of Boss, Meyers, Fisher, and Buyers plows and spreaders.   George also assists with Trailer Sales, Parts, and Service. 

Bud is a recent retiree as a Spec Writer/Purchaser for the City of Philadelphia, where he put in over 38 years of service.  Bud is working part time with us as an Inside Sales Coordinator and Bid Specialist.  Bud will review specs and on line bidding for various fleets and municipalities throughout the tri-state area. 

Jim has over 20 years in the truck equipment industry, starting with us in 1994.  Jim specializes in central hydraulic systems, pre-wet, and brine systems for municipalities.  Jim’s fabricating and welding skills are un-matched.

Allen has been in the truck equipment industry as a mechanic since 1988.  Allen’s 29 years of experience has been a tremendous asset for Intercon.  Allen is our Hi-rail specialist, and is certified in DMF, Harsco Track Technologies, and Rafna railgear.  Allen has completed projects for many Railroads and Transits throughout the northeast.

Rich has been in the truck equipment industry as a mechanic since 1987.  Rich’s specialties include:   Mechanic Trucks, Hook-lift Trucks, and Articulating Cranes.  Rich has completed projects on mechanic trucks for construction companies, and fleets throughout the tri-state area.

Gene started his career in service at Watkins Motors in 1977 and soon after that, he moved to sales. After 18 years at Watkins, he went to Nucar Chevy as Truck Manager and was there for 15 years. He has worked in the automotive paint industry and, before coming to Intercon in 2013, worked as a salesman for Ransom International. As General Manager, Gene handled day-to-day operations of Intercon Truck including inside sales.

We at Intercon Truck Equipment are devastated by the passing of our family member Gene Roarty on February 13, 2018. He has worked with us for the last 5 years as the best general manager any company ever had. Words are inadequate to explain the sadness and the emptiness we all feel here. Gene has been one of Intercon’s greatest attributes, he has taken our company to a level that far exceeded anything we could have ever imagined. Gene is one of the reasons for our recent success and was a driving force behind our recent expansion. For that, we thank him from the bottom of our hearts. He was always there when you needed him for anything. You didn’t even need to ask.

Please join us in our prayers on behalf of Gene’s family: his wife Dory, daughters Melinda and Jessica, along with his Mother Helen, and brothers and sisters. May God bless them in their time of need and help in some small way to ease their pain. Gene was their everything and their loss is tremendous.

We are proud to go forward with what Gene has helped to create and his loss will be felt throughout our organization for years to come.

Diane has been with Intercon since 2013. She handles all our incoming calls as well as accounts payable & receivable. She assists in all day to day operations.
